You Break Through

I've always been terrified of going to the dentist, so writing a glowing dental review is something I never thought I'd do, but Dr. Zakr and his team absolutely deserve it. Without a doubt, Dr. Zakr is the best dentist I've ever been to. He is incredibly patient, takes the time to explain everything in simple terms, and never makes you feel rushed or embarrassed for asking questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. I originally went in for what I thought would be a routine cleaning. After taking X-rays and running some tests, I learned that I have periodontal disease and would need a deep cleaning. His administrative staff did an amazing job breaking down the treatment plan, explaining exactly what my insurance would cover, and what my out-of-pocket costs would be. There was zero pressure or upselling. For example, I decided to decline the laser portion of the deep cleaning, and they were completely understanding and accommodating. No guilt trip, no pushiness, just honest recommendations and respect for my decision. During my deep cleaning, the room got a little cold (although, to be fair, I'm always cold, so I'm probably not the best person to judge room temperature!). Without hesitation, they brought me a warm blanket to keep me comfortable. I mean, who does that?! It's the little things that really make a difference. Now, let's talk about the needles. I am absolutely mortified of needles, especially anywhere near my mouth. Dr. Zakr had to give me what felt like two or three injections in each quadrant, so there was a LOT of needle work involved. And somehow, I barely felt a thing. Maybe a tiny pinch here and there, but that's it. I swear this man has magical hands. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I was so relaxed during my deep cleaning that I was literally falling asleep in the chair. No laughing gas, no sedation, just exceptional care and a calming environment. (Although I might still ask for laughing gas when I go back in three months because why not?) For someone who has spent years dreading dental appointments, Dr. Zakr and his entire staff have completely changed my experience and significantly reduced my anxiety around dentistry. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning. Thank you, Dr. Zakr and team!! You've earned a patient for life!

My most recent visit with Dr. Aria was incredible, from check in to check out. Viv the dental assistant was very helpful and walked me through the entire process, from X-rays to chair time with the Dr. Thank you again team keep doing an amazing job! Don't let the hater's hate!
